Jeff Millar
Founder and managing member of Millar Law Firm, LLC got his start representing solely those injured by the negligence of others at a personal injury firm located in Wood River, Illinois in 1999. While there, he helped build one of the country’s largest nationwide consumer class action practices representing solely those aggrieved by many of the Fortune 500 companies that make up Corporate America.
In that practice, among many other appointments, Mr. Millar was appointed lead class counsel in the case of Voyles v. Supervalu, Inc., a class action settlement on behalf of all Illinois residents who cashed a check at an Illinois Shop n Save store, who were charged more than the statutory allowance for the check cashing service.
Mr. Millar was also appointed as special assistant prosecutor for the Attorney General of Oklahoma in State of Oklahoma ex. rel., W. A. Drew Edmondson v. BP America, Inc., Case No. 10-6171 (10th Cir. 2010)
Jeff now helps those affected by the oftentimes confusing and emotionally charged area of complex family and domestic violence litigation. Through his legal and practical, real world solutions, Jeff helps his clients get their lives back on track.
Mr. Millar is a strong advocate of equal shared parenting in Missouri custody cases pursuant to H.B. 1550 (2016) and Morgan v. Morgan, 497 S.W.3d 359 (Mo.App.2016).
